BBRC CONSTITUTION
NAME OF THE CLUB :
THE BALLOON BARRAGE REUNION CLUB ( BBRC)
OBJECTIVES :
The BBRC exists to maintain contact and friendship between ex-RAF and ex-WAAF members, who served in the Balloon
Command during and after the 2nd World War, and to offer friendship and information to younger members who have interest in
Barrage Balloons.
FUNDS : Club funds are raised by annual subscription, level of which is agreed at the AGM by members present. This amount covers the
printing and postage of the BBRC Newsletter three times a year to all BBRC members.
COMMITTEE : The Club Management Committee is elected at the AGM, to serve for one year. It consists of the BBRC President,
the Honorary Secretary, the Honorary Treasurer, Newsletter Editor and Social Secretary.
The BBRC President represents the BBRC at official functions and/or appoints other BBRC members to do so.
MEMBERSHIP : There is no restriction on Membership by age, sex, or religion.
PAYMENTS : No payments are made to the Club Management Committee from the Club funds, other than to reimburse costs incurred
in printing of the BBRC Newsletter and the postage. No other expenses are claimed.
DISSOLUTION CLAUSE :
In the event of the BBRC closing down or otherwise ceasing to exist, any moneys and all remaining assets are to be passed to
the Airship Heritage Trust, c/o RAF Museum, Cardington, or its successors. If these have ceased to exist, all moneys and assets
are to be passed to The RAF Benevolent Fund.
